West & Central Africa eSIM Guides
All 49 West and Central Africa guides in one index: 18 countries, 5 cities, 13 airports and the local SIM card options for each, grouped so you can plan a whole route rather than one stop.
Across West and Central Africa the same few groups, Orange, MTN, Moov Africa and Airtel, run most of the networks, yet a SIM from one country is a roaming SIM in the next, and a shared currency does not mean a shared phone plan. Local prepaid data is cheap and plentiful in Dakar, Accra, Abidjan, Lagos and Douala; the real cost is registration, which usually means a passport, a photo and sometimes fingerprints at a staffed counter. Travel eSIM coverage is uneven here: some countries are sold by all three providers we track, some by one, and a few by none.
