After 22:00 fares rise by 25 percent, and after midnight the surcharge rises again, with sources differing on whether it is 50 percent or a double fare. One piece of luggage per person is included, with extra bags charged. Pay cash in dollars and carry small notes. Onward Ferries: Anguilla, St Barths and Saba
A large share of SXM arrivals are not staying. The airport's own guidance names Simpson Bay as the departure point for most ferries to Anguilla and St Barths, roughly 25 minutes and 45 minutes away respectively, with The Edge running to Saba in about 90 minutes. The Great Bay Express and Voyager services also connect to St Barths. Allow at least 45 minutes between landing and a sailing.
