The public bus is the budget option. According to the airport, one bus stop sits next to the Departures Hall and another just past the Arrivals Hall. ABC charges ANG 2.00 for city and east side routes and ANG 2.50 for the west, in cash or with a SmartPass, and buses run to the city terminals rather than stopping at hotels. The pickup rule that catches visitors out
The road directly in front of the Arrivals Hall is not a designated waiting or pickup area. Anyone collecting you is expected to wait in the airport car park until you are ready.
